HENRY FORD MUSEUM - ROSA PARKS BUS

The historic Rosa Parks bus allows visitors to sit inside and hear an audio account of the incident that started the modern civil rights movement. While the audio plays, the interior lights fade up and down until finally a single light is left shining to indicate where Rosa Parks actually sat. The Magic Lantern worked with the curators to design and install the audio and lighting control equipment in an unused compartment under the floor of the bus.
